About The SINP Program
The most distinct features of the SINP are Three subcategories for workers with and without a job offer.
International Skilled Worker Category: This is meant for people who already have sufficient work experience, have documents certifying their education and have their category in the demand list makes them an ideal candidate for SINP. This subcategory can be filed without a job offer.
International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry: This sub-category enables the province to nominate individuals who are already in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool and who have the necessary education, skilled work experience, language ability, and other factors to help them settle Saskatchewan’s Labour market.
As candidates must be in the federal Express Entry pool, all candidates must be eligible for one of the three federal economic immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Canadian Experience Class
The Saskatchewan Experience Category: This is meant for applicants already living and working in Saskatchewan as foreign nationals.
The Entrepreneur and Farm Category: This is meant for applicants who intend to run their own business in Saskatchewan or are planning to establish and run a farm in the Saskatchewan provincial territory.
Note: Only applicants scoring above 60 points out of 100 are eligible for selection under any of the above categories.

How do I apply to SINP?
Step 1: Choose any one category to apply and attain invites based on market demand:
- International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category:
- International Skilled Worker: Occupations in-Demand Stream
- Entrepreneur and Farm Category
NOTE: Skill full Indians should apply under International Skilled Worker: Occupations in-Demand Stream or International Skilled.
STEP 2: Obtain all the required documents. Complete the required provincial and federal forms and any other federal forms that apply to your situation.
STEP 3: Review and organize your completed forms and supporting
STEP 4: To apply online you need to create an account and then complete the different sections.
STEP 5: Scan and upload all your completed forms and required documents in PDF format onto your online application.
STEP 6: Keep the originals of all the attached documents for your records.
STEP 7: Save, pay the fee (Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand subcategories only) and submit your application online.
STEP 8: Background check is done before granting the visa
Documents you need to arrange for applying for SINP:
- Legal documents validating the resident status
- A minimal score of 4 in the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)
- At least one year of education and training in post-secondary education from a Canadian equivalent recognized educational institution.
- At least one-year of paid work experience in the past ten years related to the relevant field of education or training, in a highly-skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B)
- License proof of professional operation in Saskatchewan
- Evidence of sufficient funds needed to settle in Saskatchewan
